Sean has a varied background in banking and investments, but his longest role was COO of a small private equity fund. Sustainability is now his main focus.

Nancy Hohengarten

Company Secretary & Board Member

Nancy is a former Travis County judge and leading advocate for the creation of The Sobering Center. She now applies her energies to sustainability efforts.

Olya Sukhopar

Marketing & Board Member

Olya is a digital marketer by trade. She's loves mountains and nature, and is passionate about addressing issues of a changing climate.

Susan Rozenswieg

Vice-President, Branding, & Board Member

Susan is an advertising Creative Director and documentary film maker who is passionate about helping animals and the environment.

Lilly Justman

Co-Founder & Board Member

Lilly is leading the charge, so to speak, as a Sr. Analyst in Tesla's Infrastructure Programs. She's passionate about the environment, enjoys gardening, and is an avid composter.

Emporia Meng

Website, Fundraising, & Board Member

Emporia is the Founder of Sense of Agency, an advertising agency, and Empi Dream, a dream science startup. She is also pursuing a graduate degree at Columbia University.

Bob Gedart

Board Member

Although a long-time player in the recycling industry through his roles running Austin Resource Recovery and the National Recycling Coalition, Bob’s new book presses the case for why Reuse is a much better way.

Alison Waliszewski

Board Member

Alison is a career nonprofit professional who is taking some downtime to start a family. She’s passionate about community based reuse projects and keen to see how voluntary culture changes paired with practical infrastructure work together in preemption states.

Meg is the Deputy Director of an industry guild and has served in leadership roles and on the boards of several nonprofits over the years. She brings a keen eye for best practices and organizational development.

Design & Digital Processes

Robert is a graphic designer and a digital process design engineer. He’s keen on ensuring that clean flows and quality user experiences help people to transition to better habits and lower environmental footprints.

Talia Zagarella

Open Loop Systems

Talia began as an Intern for a pilot project and has moved on to onboarding new shops and managing administration and customer service for the Austin cups network. By day, she is a Chemistry major pursuing a certificate in Environmental and Sustainability Studies at UT Austin.

Janya is a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design studying User Experience Design. She is passionate about sustainable design and zero-waste practices.

Jay is a Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Austin. He has an interest in system design and has been working on mapping out app architecture and automating a data pipeline.
